South Bay Beach Cities Single Family Market Report for the last three months shows an active and healthy real estate market. With interest rates staying stable and still a low inventory in many areas we are heading into summer with some interesting facts. In the South Bay Beach Cities over the last three months there have been 238 houses sold.
Below are stats detailing average selling price, sq footage, days on the market. Data is based on CRMLS for Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach.
|Status: Closed Sale (239) Beach Cities South Bay|
|Selling Price||BD||BA||Year Built||SqFt||Lot SqFt|
Today, there are 126 single family homes listed for sale in the beach cities of Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach. 31 houses went expired, or got canceled during that same time in the beach cities real estate market.
When a home falls into this last category there are always clues as to why. Overpricing is one culprit, but so is bad or no marketing. Remember that not all agents are the same, but all agencies will put your listing on hundreds of websites. This does not mean great marketing, it means whatever is in MLS will be sent to all these other sites. If you do not have the right kind of search terms in your descriptions the people who are searching for houses will never find you. You need a marketing expert today more than ever.
Indications are that the interest rates will remain low for another year. Federal Reserve met this week to discuss the economy and there is some concern about rising inflation in the consumer products area. Real estate market was not mentioned at the meeting. This continues to be a great time to purchase and finance your house with these low interest rates.
