TORRANCE - WALTERIA REAL ESTATE   

Walteria comprises a mix of the old and the new. With many homes built in the 1950's or 1960's and numerous contemporary newer homes.
The homes in this section of Torrance are really located in two distinct Neighborhoods which are divided by Hawthorne Blvd, but both areas of Walteria are located at the foot of Palos Verdes The most sought after is the area west of Hawthorne Blvd. Here you get a rural feel, with old shade trees and many of the streets without sidewalks.

 Walteria Market Update 
In the 2rd Qtr this year, 25 homes sold in Walteria, with the avg price of $706,120 compared with 16 homes sold a year ago and the avg pric of $766,375.  Prices dropped on average 8% but sales picked up by 56%.  Buyers are back!
