Torrance market in September showed a slowdown in the number of single family home sales. However, home prices increased by a few percent, as compared to the same period a year ago.

In Torrance CA, single family home average sales price was $1,405,256 compared to $1,373,926 a year ago. This represents the 2 percent increase. The median price was $1,302,500 compared to $1,250,500 a year ago, the 4 percent price increase. The condo/townhouse median price was $794,500 compared to $776,500 in Sept. 2025, the 1 percent drop, while the average price was $801,336 compared to $723,762 - lower by 1 percent. Home sales dropped by 27% year over year for single family homes and increased by 8% for condos and townhomes. This might indicate the buyer interest shift towards lower priced properties in the current high interest rate envirenment.
